This cake is for a friend's wedding, and the theme color for the wedding is pink, so I designed it with pink lilies. (lily flowers have a very nice Chinese meaning for wedding: wish the new couple a long-lasting relationship and love!)

All flowers and leaves are made with gum paste, and the draps are made from rolled fondant. This time, I used a textured rolling pin to roll out the draps and then brush them with luster dust.
For these lilies, I used a lily petal veiner to get the patterns on the flowers, and it turned out well as they look just like the real ones! Sometimes, it's very expensive to buy certain tools to make the sugar flowers look real, and this lily petal veiner is surely one of the tools that's worth it. ^_^
